Double Data Rate, a technology used in synchronous dynamic random-access memory (SDRAM) that transfers data on both the rising and falling edges of the clock signal. This effectively doubles the data transfer rate compared to single data rate (SDR) memory operating at the same clock frequency. DDR memory modules are widely used in modern computers and servers.
