Set off

The undesirable transfer of wet ink from the printed side of one sheet to the back of the next sheet in a stack. This occurs when ink has not dried sufficiently before stacking or when excessive pressure is applied. Anti-set-off spray powder or interleafing sheets are used to prevent this issue.
