Silva

The forest trees or the entire plant community of a specific region, considered as a collective ecological unit. The term is used in forestry and ecology to refer to the character and composition of a region's woodlands. For example, the silva of the Pacific Northwest includes species like Douglas fir, western hemlock, and Sitka spruce.
