Term · Industrial and trades · MLC-T-IND-005468
A loud, explosive sound that occurs when an object accelerates through the air at a speed exceeding the speed of sound, creating a shockwave. This phenomenon results from the continuous pressure waves generated by the object coalescing into a single, powerful wave.
