Trip computer

An electronic device in a vehicle that calculates and displays driving data, such as distance traveled, average speed, and fuel consumption. It uses inputs from the vehicle's speed sensor and fuel flow meter to provide real-time and summary information for a specific journey. The driver can reset the trip computer at the start of a journey to monitor metrics like miles per gallon (MPG) or distance to empty for that particular trip.
