Wireless telegraphy

The transmission of telegraphic signals without the use of connecting wires, primarily through radio waves. This technology was a precursor to modern radio communication, enabling long-distance communication across oceans and remote areas. Guglielmo Marconi is credited with pioneering its development in the late 19th century.
