Yield line

A painted line on a road surface, typically a series of triangles or a solid white line, indicating where drivers must give way to traffic on an intersecting road. Drivers are required to slow down and be prepared to stop if necessary to avoid a collision. This marking is distinct from a stop line, which requires a full stop.
