Slip lane

A dedicated lane at an intersection that allows vehicles to turn right (in right-hand traffic countries) or left (in left-hand traffic countries) without stopping or merging with through traffic. This design improves traffic flow and reduces congestion by separating turning movements. It often has a yield sign or no stop requirement.
