Cruising lane

A designated lane on a multi-lane highway intended for maintaining a steady speed, rather than for passing other vehicles. This lane is typically the rightmost lane on a highway in countries where traffic drives on the right. Drivers are expected to move to a passing lane to overtake slower vehicles.
