Activity standards

A set of quantitative and qualitative benchmarks used by insurance companies to measure the performance and productivity of employees, particularly in claims and underwriting departments. These standards define expectations for tasks like the number of files handled, contact frequency with policyholders, and the timeliness of decisions. For claims adjusters, standards may specify that initial contact with a claimant must be made within 24 hours of receiving a new assignment.
