Aggregate limit of liability

The maximum amount an insurer will pay for all covered losses during a specific policy period, regardless of the number of occurrences or claims. Once this limit is reached, the insurer has no further obligation to pay for additional losses within that period. This limit is distinct from a per-occurrence limit, which applies to each individual claim.
