Allocated expenses

Costs directly attributable to a specific insurance claim, such as legal fees, investigation costs, and expert witness fees. These expenses are tracked separately from the actual indemnity payment made to the claimant. They are a component of the total cost of a claim and are considered when evaluating an insurer's loss adjustment expenses.
