Alternative dispute resolution (ADR)

Methods for resolving legal disputes outside of traditional court litigation, such as mediation, arbitration, and conciliation. ADR processes are often faster, less formal, and less expensive than lawsuits, and they can lead to more creative and mutually agreeable solutions. Many insurance policies and contracts include provisions requiring ADR for certain types of disputes.
