Alternative Assessment Procedure (AAP)

A Canadian workers' compensation arrangement for interjurisdictional trucking and transport firms. Instead of registering and paying assessments to the compensation board of every province where its drivers work, a firm applies to the board of its home province or territory, which then assesses it. Eligible carriers avoid separate registration and assessment filings in each jurisdiction.
