Interjurisdictional Trucking Agreement ITA

A specific Canadian agreement for the for-hire trucking industry that allows companies to register with and report workers' compensation premiums to a single provincial or territorial board. The Interjurisdictional Trucking Agreement (ITA) simplifies administration for firms with drivers who cross multiple jurisdictions as part of their regular work. This agreement is administered by the Association of Workers' Compensation Boards of Canada and applies to firms operating in at least two participating jurisdictions.
