Mediation

A non-binding dispute resolution process where a neutral third party facilitates communication and negotiation between parties to reach a mutually acceptable settlement. In insurance, mediation is often used to resolve claims disputes between policyholders and insurers, or between multiple parties involved in an accident. The mediator does not impose a decision but guides the parties toward their own resolution.
