Basic causes of loss form

A standardized form used in commercial property insurance that specifies the perils covered by the policy. This form typically provides coverage for a limited list of common perils, such as fire, lightning, explosion, windstorm, hail, smoke, aircraft or vehicle damage, riot, vandalism, sprinkler leakage, sinkhole collapse, and volcanic action. It offers less extensive coverage than broad or special causes of loss forms.
