Broad form property damage (BFPD)

An exclusion in commercial general liability policies that removes coverage for property damage to work performed by the insured or to property in the insured's care, custody, or control. However, the broad form exception to this exclusion restores coverage for certain types of property damage, such as damage to property not directly worked upon. It is a complex area of liability coverage.
