Class action waivers

Contractual clauses that require parties to resolve disputes through individual arbitration or litigation, rather than participating in a class action lawsuit. These waivers are frequently found in consumer agreements, employment contracts, and terms of service. The enforceability of such waivers has been upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in several landmark decisions.
