Damage to premises rented to you

A coverage extension found in commercial general liability (CGL) policies that provides protection for property damage to premises rented to the insured. This coverage specifically addresses damage caused by fire, and sometimes other perils, for which the insured is legally liable. It is subject to a separate, lower limit of insurance than the general liability aggregate limit.
