Fair rental value coverage FRV

A type of coverage included in many homeowners and dwelling policies that reimburses a landlord for lost rental income if a covered peril makes a rental property uninhabitable. It pays for the amount of rent the landlord would have collected during the period of restoration. This coverage is typically subject to a time limit, such as 12 or 24 months.
