Garagekeepers extra legal liability

Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001625

An optional coverage endorsement added to a garagekeepers liability policy that provides protection for a customer's vehicle even when the garage owner is not legally liable for the damage. This coverage responds to losses from perils like theft or vandalism that occur on the premises, regardless of the business's negligence, functioning as a goodwill gesture. It converts the standard legal liability coverage into a form of direct primary coverage for the customer's property.
