Host liquor liability

Legal responsibility for damages or injuries arising from the serving of alcoholic beverages by an organization or individual that is not in the business of selling alcohol. This coverage protects hosts of events where alcohol is provided without charge, such as company parties or social gatherings. It differs from liquor liability insurance, which applies to commercial establishments selling alcohol.
