Intrastate experience rating

A method of calculating workers' compensation premiums for an employer based solely on their loss experience within a single state. This approach is used when an employer operates exclusively within one jurisdiction or when interstate experience rating is not applicable. It results in an experience modification factor specific to that state's operations.
