The commercial activity that occurs entirely within the borders of a single state, without crossing state lines or involving goods or services that originate or terminate outside that state. Insurance policies covering businesses engaged solely in intrastate commerce are subject to the regulations and laws of that specific state. This contrasts with interstate commerce, which falls under federal jurisdiction.
