Nonledger assets

Assets owned by an insurance company that are not recorded in the insurer's general ledger accounts. These assets typically include accrued interest on investments, due and accrued premiums, and other items that represent value but have not yet been formally received. They are considered in the insurer's financial statements for regulatory reporting.
