Ordinary payroll limitation or exclusion endorsement

An addition to a business income insurance policy that modifies coverage for the payroll expenses of employees. A limitation endorsement typically covers ordinary payroll for a specified period, such as 90 or 180 days, following a covered loss. An exclusion endorsement removes ordinary payroll from the covered expenses entirely, reducing the premium.
