Physical harm or destruction to tangible assets, including buildings, vehicles, equipment, and personal belongings. This type of damage can result from perils such as fire, theft, vandalism, or natural disasters. Property damage coverage in an insurance policy compensates the insured for the cost of repair or replacement of these damaged items.
