Impaired property

Tangible property, other than the insured's own product or work, that has not been physically injured but is unusable or less useful because it incorporates a defective or inadequate product or work of the insured, or because the insured failed to perform a contract. Commercial general liability policies exclude such loss, except for loss of use resulting from sudden and accidental physical injury to the insured's product or work after it was put to its intended use.
