The unsolicited distribution of large volumes of electronic messages, often commercial in nature, to a wide audience. This practice can include emails, instant messages, or social media posts, frequently containing malware, phishing attempts, or deceptive advertising. Spamming can consume network resources, annoy users, and pose security risks to recipients.
