Voyage clause

A provision in a marine insurance policy that specifies the geographical limits and conditions under which coverage applies for a particular journey. It defines the start and end points of the insured voyage and any permitted deviations. If the vessel deviates from the agreed-upon voyage without insurer consent, coverage for subsequent losses may be voided.
