War risk clause

A provision in an insurance policy, particularly marine or aviation insurance, that specifically addresses coverage for losses arising from acts of war, terrorism, or related hostilities. While many policies exclude war risks, this clause either provides limited coverage or clarifies the scope of exclusion. It often requires an additional premium for such specialized coverage.
