Biweekly mortgage

A mortgage payment plan where borrowers make half of their monthly mortgage payment every two weeks, resulting in 26 half-payments, or 13 full monthly payments, per year. This payment schedule can significantly reduce the total interest paid over the life of the loan and shorten the repayment period. It effectively adds one extra monthly payment each year.
