A business entity that has fully complied with all statutory requirements for incorporation and is legally recognized as a corporation. This status provides full limited liability protection to its shareholders and is immune from challenges to its corporate existence by the state or third parties. It is formed when all necessary legal steps, such as filing articles of incorporation, are completed.
