De facto segregation

Racial separation that occurs in practice, not as a result of explicit laws or government policies, but rather from social, economic, or historical factors. This type of segregation often results from residential patterns, private choices, or neighborhood demographics. It contrasts with de jure segregation, which is mandated by law.
