Forced labor

Work or service exacted from any person under the menace of any penalty and for which the person has not offered themselves voluntarily. This includes situations where individuals are coerced through threats, deception, or debt bondage, preventing them from leaving their employment. International conventions, such as those by the International Labour Organization, prohibit forced labor.
