Casual labor

Work performed by individuals who are hired on an irregular or as-needed basis, without a fixed schedule or expectation of continued employment. These workers are not considered permanent employees and do not receive the same benefits or protections as full-time staff. Their employment relationship is often short-term and project-specific, governed by different legal standards than regular employment.
