Form 8-K

A current report that public companies must file with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to announce unscheduled material events or corporate changes. This form provides timely disclosure of information that investors should know, such as changes in control, bankruptcy, or resignation of directors. Companies are generally required to file a Form 8-K within four business days of the event.
