A citizen selected to serve on a jury and participate in legal proceedings, tasked with hearing evidence and rendering a verdict. Jurors are chosen from a pool of eligible citizens through a process called voir dire. Their duty is to weigh the facts presented and apply the law as instructed by the judge.
