Supplemental Register

A secondary register for trademarks that do not qualify for the Principal Register but are capable of distinguishing goods or services. Marks on this register do not receive all the legal presumptions of those on the Principal Register, but they can still gain some protection. After five years of continuous use, a mark on the Supplemental Register may become eligible for the Principal Register.
