Supplemental pleadings

Additional pleadings filed in a lawsuit to introduce facts or events that occurred after the original complaint or answer was filed. These pleadings do not replace the original documents but rather add to them, updating the court on new developments relevant to the case. Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 15(d) governs the filing of supplemental pleadings.
