Digital twinning

The creation of a virtual, dynamic model of a physical asset, process, or system within the supply chain, such as a warehouse, distribution network, or individual shipment. This digital representation is continuously updated with real-time data from sensors and other information sources, allowing for simulation, analysis, and monitoring. The twin mirrors the physical object's lifecycle and can be used to test scenarios without affecting actual operations.
