The chronological documentation showing the seizure, custody, control, transfer, analysis, and disposition of physical or electronic evidence. In logistics, it provides a verifiable record of the sequence of entities that have had physical possession of a shipment from its point of origin to its final destination. This record is maintained through signatures, timestamps, and location data at each handoff point.
