Inventory turn

A ratio showing how many times a company has sold and replaced its inventory over a specific period. It is calculated by dividing the cost of goods sold (COGS) by the average inventory value for the same period. A higher inventory turn number indicates efficient inventory management, while a low number suggests overstocking or weak sales.
