Abnormality

A deviation from the typical or expected atmospheric conditions or meteorological patterns for a given location and time of year. This can refer to unusual temperature, precipitation, or wind patterns that fall outside the historical range of variability. Such deviations are often calculated as the difference between an observed value and a long-term average or climatological normal.
