Barothermograph
Term · Meteorology and atmospheric science · MLC-T-MET-003826
A self-recording instrument that simultaneously measures and creates a graphical record of atmospheric pressure and temperature over time. It combines the mechanisms of a barograph (for pressure) and a thermograph (for temperature) into a single device that produces two separate traces on the same chart, called a barothermogram. This instrument was historically used in radiosondes to record upper-air data.
