Black northeaster

A severe weather phenomenon characterized by strong northeasterly winds, heavy rainfall, and rough seas, primarily affecting the east coast of Australia. It is associated with intense low-pressure systems or coastal troughs that develop off the coast. These events can cause coastal erosion, flooding, and disruption to shipping.
