Northeaster

A cyclonic storm, also known as a nor'easter, affecting the northeastern coast of the United States and Atlantic Canada, characterized by strong and persistent winds from the northeast. These storms develop when a low-pressure system forms over the Atlantic Ocean and tracks along the coast, drawing in cold, moist air. Nor'easters are most frequent and intense between September and April, capable of producing blizzard conditions, heavy rain, and severe coastal flooding.
