China Coastal Current

A cold, southward-flowing ocean current that originates in the Yellow Sea and East China Sea, extending along the coast of China. This current is strongest during the winter monsoon, bringing cold, low-salinity water southward. It significantly influences the regional climate and marine ecosystems along the Chinese coast.
