Cierzo

A strong, cold, and dry wind that blows from the northwest through the Ebro Valley in Spain. This wind is channeled by the topography, accelerating as it moves towards the Mediterranean Sea. The cierzo often brings clear skies and significantly lowers temperatures, especially in winter.
